After the lithium battery technology planning in 2030

Moderator: Dr. James A. Barnes to thank the wonderful speech, and the U.S. Department of Energy for support of this seminar sony vgp-bps8 battery, sony vgp-bps9 battery. Next, we have requested the Japanese New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization, Mr. pills a Sanyo, and his topic is “Planning and the Japanese R & D for battery power.”

Sanyo pill one: Thank you, moderator. Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, my name is a pill Sanyo, I’m from the Ministry of hydrogen energy technology development power-storage technology development room. I am very honored to have such an opportunity to come to this forum for everyone to make a speech. My presentation today will be involved in planning and development of the Japanese battery power status, say the next generation of battery technology.

First of all, with everyone in the battery area to talk about the Japanese R & D budget situation, this slide is a Japanese science and technology budget by 2010 the distribution of funds. The total budget for science and technology is the 39 billion dollars. The biggest piece is from MEXT, MEXT Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology. The second largest source of METI, METI Economic and Trade Ministry of Industry of Japan, where the budget reached 60 billion U.S. dollars. This slide is to show you in science and technology R & D budget. In 2009, the battery’s R & D budget is 100 million 30 million U.S. dollars. We all know that all governments are vigorously promoting the development of batteries, in fact, battery technology will output a variety of products, extended to a variety of industries, such as electronic batteries, medical industry, social welfare sector, the industry needs to do the robot dell latitude e6400 battery, dell latitude e6500 battery.

Next to you talk about the NEDO R & D in batteries history. This slide to introduce the NEDO R & D progress in the battery. Static cell research is from the beginning of 1980. That time had just founded shortly after lithium was commercialized in 1991, so we vigorously carry out R & D in the battery. This year we focus on aspects of the new lithium battery development. Li-ion battery development will be a large number of applications to medical devices, robots. This slide is to show you the next generation car battery research and development. The project was started in 1992, the car battery research and development has continued from that time until now, but also under way. This project is a major developing the next generation car battery systems, we call it LEE project, the project for the next generation of battery innovation is very important. Both projects focus on the next generation of cars.

This slide show is for everyone to do NEDO of research on batteries. The first project was conducted from 1991 to 1998, and at that time wanted to make a high-power battery project. The second project started in 1992, and at that time our focus is on technical aspects of lithium battery power storage. The third project, and the fourth project, NEDO is now being carried out, talk to you after these two projects in detail.

All our projects are done in this slide show everyone out. Now I would like to introduce two new projects, these two new projects will begin this year. The first is the evolution of battery materials R & D projects. The second is to stimulate innovative projects. We can see that we have done this year, six projects, their objectives are different asus a32-f3 battery, asus a33-f3 battery. But these projects are organized in a case, completed by our NEDO institutions. So, for now, is concerned, we have to do in terms of some new material of lithium preparations. Battery systems do, in our showroom can see. Although these projects vary, but interdependent, have relationships.

I want to tell you about the next year we completed several projects.

The first project is the battery system, the use of new energy and power grid connected to the new storage system. New energy research needs to be strong and use. This helps us to reduce the cost of the battery, so this project aims to challenge for us is very large. But we see a lot of us encouraging results.

About electric vehicles in large projects, I now tell you about the direction of development of electric vehicle batteries. Lithium-ion battery is now in the green environment inside. Up means the arrow, he is also in watts per KG obviously marked toshiba pa3728u-1brs battery, toshiba pa3634u-1bas battery, yellow is a new type of battery. We hope to reach this part of 2300. The first electric car is the lithium-related projects in sub. The development of this project in three phases, the first is the basic technology, is almost complete, but we need to do some improvements in order to achieve the three objectives listed above. The second type is the next generation of technology, our project will be fully completed in 2030. It contains a lithium battery and metal battery, as well as the possibility of a variety of batteries. The third factor is now the research is the foundation, where we focus on is to use a standardized test method to test the battery performance. Also test the battery safety and sustainable level.

In order to complete the slide which was about these goals, we use this slide inside the system. Technology which mainly consists of five very important elements. A next-generation technology, two core technologies. Addition there is a project of electric vehicles that are on the rise of technology, we call it the RISING project, the project was started last July, when the. RISING project’s goal is to study and reflect the basic principle of the mechanism reflecting that reflect the principles, reflecting the mechanism is mainly refers to the mechanism of electric vehicle batteries, and reflect the principle of reflection. So that we can come up with more sophisticated assessment and analysis of battery performance approach. We also hope that through this project to improve battery reliability and performance. In order to better accomplish this project, we set up four small teams, the four small team by the same director to oversee the project. In this project which we can see that the Japanese team from all electric vehicles, batteries research institutions. This project is a new project dell vostro 1310 battery, dell vostro 1710 battery. The name of this project is to assess battery performance of basic research. On this project we will work out a standard set of methods to assess the performance of the battery, the battery will be to assess the material, if a set of standardized assessment methods, the industry will be a great benefit. R & D because he will have more reliable data to do comparison. So this is the new objective of the project.

Next let us look at the battery project. Battery project goal is to develop a high-performance integrated battery system, in Japan we call it intelligence community. In the intelligence community which must include efficient energy supply and innovative way of life and so on. On this project, the battery system will be installed in designated areas. For example, industrial areas, residential areas and so on. Before installing these areas we have done related to the feasibility study.

Finally, I want to tell you about our plans for the future. NEDO’s R & D plans and objectives is to avoid global warming, to the car, the battery industry to provide more new choices. To achieve this goal, our policy is to promote the lithium battery technology step by step progress. The second approach is that we want to achieve after the lithium battery technology. At the same time, we also help promote the battery system. Finally, through a series of projects carried out across the country to promote the new hp probook 4510s battery, hp probook 4710s battery the community, I think we can do to help us achieve our goals. In order to avoid global warming, in terms of the NEDO is the most important goal, for all the world’s countries and governments, are the most important goal, in order to achieve this goal NEDO will do our best and the rest of the world countries to work together.
